My French Love Affair
Just about one year ago, I had the privilege of traveling to a magical land called P A R I S. And it was there that I fell in love. His name was Pierre... One bite, that's all it took.
Laduree vs. Pierre Herme
When it comes to choosing between Laduree and Pierre Herme, I'm sorry but, Pierre has my heart! One taste, and I was addicted... Over the course of 5 days, I'm pretty sure I ate over 30 macarons!!! The bright vibrant color; the light, airy, cloud-like texture; and the unique flavors are some things my taste buds will never forget. It's been a little over a year, and I still crave them! My mouth is watering at the thought of those little bites of heaven. My favorite was the grapefruit flavor from their summer 2014 collection.
Unfortunately, they don't have any stores in the U.S. right now. However, I am very hopeful that they will pretty soon. A woman in one of the stores in Paris told me that the company was making plans to open a store in the states within the next few years... I guess for now I'll just be dreaming of you Pierre... See you in my dreams!! zzZ
